Who we are


This survey is operated by Estaita Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England. We work with residential property management teams to help improve the living experience for residents.

What we collect


When you complete this survey, we collect:

  • Your flat/unit number

  • Your responses to satisfaction and feedback questions

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying information.


Why we collect it


We use your responses for two purposes:

  1. To produce an anonymised satisfaction report for your building's management team. Your individual responses are aggregated with other residents' responses. The report contains scores, trends, and themes only. Your flat number is never included in the report shared with management.

  2. To enter you into a gift card prize draw. Your flat number is used solely to identify the winner. When a winner is drawn, we share the winning flat number with building management so they can notify the winner directly. We do not contact the winner ourselves.


How we use your data for benchmarking


We also use anonymised, aggregated survey data (with no flat numbers or building-identifying information) to build sector benchmarks for resident satisfaction across UK residential developments. This helps us and the wider property management industry understand trends in resident experience. No individual or building can be identified from this benchmarked data.


Who sees your data


  • Estaita Ltd processes your raw survey responses to generate the report.

  • Your building's management team receives the anonymised report only. They do not see individual responses linked to flat numbers, with the sole exception of the gift card winner's flat number.

  • Typeform hosts the survey on our behalf and stores responses securely. Their privacy policy is available at typeform.com/privacy.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or any other third parties.


How long we keep it


We retain your survey responses for 12 months after the survey closes. After this period, all data including flat numbers is permanently deleted. Anonymised, aggregated benchmark data (which cannot identify any individual) may be retained indefinitely.


Your rights


Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Withdraw consent at any time (this will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal)

  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@estaita.com with your building name and flat number so we can locate your record.


Legal basis


We process your data based on your consent, which you provide by ticking the consent box before submitting the survey. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@estaita.com.


Changes to this notice


If we make changes to this notice, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
